Ok, now just picture this. My two sweet little girls are playing dress up in my closet, while little man is sleeping. I am curled up in the big comfy chair in my bedroom reading one of my favorite magazines. Picture perfect huh? Well, that is what I thought for about two whole minutes.
Let me back up a little and tell you that I have been potty training Miss Baylen Grace for the last couple of days and she has been doing wonderful! We are working hard to remain accident free for a whole day and we almost made it...almost.
So, as I am sitting in my comfy chair, listening to my babies play together and thinking that I have this stay-at-home mom thing under control, my darling little Baylen Grace runs out of the closest yelling poo poo, poo poo. I am so excited that she is finally catching on to this whole potty thing. As I begin to look up I notice that she already has her undies off. I know what your thinking...overachiever right? That is what I thought too!
"Hurry Baylen, let's go," I heard myself say. With a big smile on her face she hands me her undies. I grab her hand and we start jogging to the "big girl potty." Without hesitation and without thought, I grab those adorable white princess undies out of her hand...and YES you guessed it...squoosh! I stop jogging, almost giving Baylen whiplash and gave her the "are you serious" eye! My little Baylen Grace looks up at me and says "Yeah! Good Job!" I take a deep breath and proceed to take her to the bathroom and once again go over the process of how to poop in the potty. She is so excited to watch her poo poo swim that I don't think she heard a word I was saying. As she waves good bye to her poo poo and says "See you later," I smile and thank God that that is over!
I clean Baylen up and we put on a new pair of her miniature Calvin Kleins. We walk hand in hand into the closet to check on Miss Brecken. As soon as I round the corner I see Brecken's eyes get big and her mouth drops open...usually not the most calming sight! Her sweet little voice says "Oh no mommy, poo poo." Yes, honey Baylen did poo poo! As I begin to tidy up the closet from the girls super fun game of "Let's try on every single pair of mommy's shoes," I once again stop, close my eyes and think to myself "are you serious?"
When I open my eyes up again I see little Baylen Grace pointing to my flip flop saying, "YYYY-UCK!" I guess the saying, "when it rains it pours" is right...because IT poured right onto my flip flop, my yoga pants, and my closet floor!
Yes, those are undies in her hand! And the broom? That is a whole other story!

Oh my word! Never a dull moment with little ones around :)
