I'm So Glam, There's Glitter in my Diaper!!
Halloween was a big hit at the Wittrock house. We attended some great festivities at some friends' house and the girls were amazingly beautiful! They stole the show, which is not hard to imagine. The girls dressed up as superstars, John was their bodyguard, and I was the paparazzi! Just couldn't pass up sharing some pictures with all of you!

"Copy that, code one...I have the merchandise in hand."

Little Baylen was such a good sport...needless to say the boa never made it home because she tried to eat most of it!

Taking a little break from the party...Brecken sneaks away for some quiet time with the paparazzi close behind her.

Brecken loved playing in the hay and even found a few souvenirs to take home!

Just another day...and another signature!

Almost had the shot, but boy that bodyguard is GOOD!

Even the paparazzi love their little superstars!!

Trying to disguise herself, Brecken grabs the closes props and makes a run for it.

"NO shots please!" Baylen was caught with her skirt up and chubby little thighs out!

Ending the night with lots of smiles in our Halloween jammies.

Gotta love those little chubby fingers...and not they hardly ever leave her mouth!

Hang on daddy...they are too cute for words!!

Living, Laughing, and Loving LIFE!
Brecken loves her little sister...especially when she is naked. She loves the feel of her soft skin and of course Baylen loves the attention.

Well I can't believe that it has already been a month and time for me to update the blog again. Time is just flying by and as you can see the girls are growing so fast. We have had some beautiful weather here lately and we are enjoying that. We took the girls to the pumpkin patch and to a local church to for "Trunk or Treat." There were a bunch of games and lots of candy. Brecken got to enjoy an oversized sucker...oh yeah! Stained the lips cherry red and she loved it!! I didn't get any pics of the girls in their costumes, but will be sure to post them when I do. The girls will be going to a Halloween party this weekend...Brecken is a biker babe and Baylen is a bumble bee! I will post the pics as soon as I get them cause they're just too cute!

John is approaching the end of his training and will be flying his cross country this coming weekend. We were hoping that he was going to be able to go to Iowa and do landings in Boone, but it turns out that it will not work. What a bummer! We are not sure where he will get to go...we will wait and see. He should complete his training in about three weeks. He will graduate in December and we will wait around here until we get our official orders to Oklahoma, which should be the beginning of January. When he is not busy flying he is busy loving on his little girls and me of course. What an amazing daddy he is and it is a joy for me to watch those three together. YHWH gave those girls the perfect daddy...and the girls agree.

I just began to celebrate the beginning of my 29th year of life and I must say it is the best year...so far! John got me a MacBook Pro laptop for my birthday and I love it!! He got it all set up for me and left for work and when I sat down to play with it a blank page was opened up and said "Tami's Story." So yes I have begun writing my first children's story and I am about 1/4 of the way done with it. It is really exciting and I am thankful that I have a husband that pushes me to use my gifts. So aside from writing, meeting with the mom's group, cooking, cleaning, book club, and of course taking care of my girls, I am one busy lady. I love every minute of it!!!!

Brecken is turning into such a big girl. She loves to do "fist explosions" and while Grandpa Marv was down here he taught her how to do "chest bumps." So needless to say every once in a while she gives "chest bumps" to our sofa, rocking chair, and coffee table. She has learned how to say, "You are beautiful," in sign language, which always melts my heart. She is learning more and more words everyday and loves to be outside. Her favorite toys are still rocks and sticks. She is so athletic and strong and definitely part fish like most of the Wittrock family. She is a great big sister and is constantly entertaining Baylen! I am working with her to teach her "diaper" and "bottle." She usually just gives me a funny look...ha!

Baylen Grace has changed so much that she doesn't even seem like them same little girl that was born five months ago. She is now sitting up by herself and grabs anything and everything within an arms reach. Yes, my eyes have even watered a few times as she loves to grab the hair at the top of my neck. She has started eating cereal and she loves it. Sometimes I can't get it in her mouth fast enough and boy let me tell you, she will let me know! She is so facinated with Brecken as you can guess and has one eye on her every chance she gets. Sometimes it is a challenge to feed her a bottle when Brecken is around. She takes two sips then spring up to check on Brecken. Two sips, springs, two sips, springs...I think you get the picture. She is a great joy to us and always makes us smile!!

John and I are still planning on taking a trip to Oklahoma in three week to go house hunting...very exciting! We have been looking on the internet the last couple of months and now have about 20 properties to view. Needless to say we will be busy. The girls will be busy also with Grandma Barbie and Aunt Julie! We will keep you informed with how the trip goes. Hope everyone is well...we miss you all!!!

Pictures of the sweet girls...

What a trio...all bundled up to go outside and see the first big puddles we have had here in Texas. We all love sweatshirt weather!!

Here is a great example of what most of my pictures look like. Baylen is always moving so most of my pictures of her are blurry. I wouldn't have it any other way!

Miss Brecken loves to play with play-doh. Oh you mean you don't see any on her tray. That is cause her idea of playing is "throw it on the ground and have someone else pick it up."

Baylen has just started eating cereal and loves it. Her second time eating cereal she was slirpping it off the spoon.

Grandma Barbie is so much fun...and I think Brecken tends to egg her on a little bit too!

Yummy, yum, yum. It seems like most pictures I take of her she is eating. I love my little "Tatonka." For those of you who have not watched "Dances with Wolves," it means buffalo.

Loving he Texas fall weather. Just catching some air and a few rays with Grandpa and Grandma while they were here visiting.

Brecken is not the only one who likes babies. Baylen plays with anything she can get her hands on. That is why I have not opened my jewelry box in a month :(

Brecken got a new ball pit for her playroom and loves it. I was so excited to get it for her until I came home from the gym one day to see all 175 balls no longer in the ball pit...ha!

Baylen is pretty hot stuff sitting in her sister's seat. She is growing up soooo fast!

Little Brecken playing with her play-doh before she figured out how much fun throwing it on the floor can be.

Laughter is the best medicine...be careful you just might overdose!!

Brecken never ceases to make us laugh...here she thought it would be fun to sit in Baylen's jumper and by the looks of it, it was!!

Just a little sneak peek of daddy playing "Who's got the Play-doh?" with Brecken. Would you believe her hair was in perfect little pig tails only minutes ago?

Miss Baylen is such a happy little girl and makes my cheeks hurt all the time from smiling. Here she is sitting up and just waking up from a nap...she is so sweet!

September Update

Goodbye Summer...Hello Fall!
Me and my wonderful husband...how blessed I am to have him!!!

Well summer is officially over. Although it doesn't feel much like fall since today it was 94 degrees, I am glad it is here! I definately won't miss so many hot, hot days. We have gotten some good rain over the past two weeks, which has been wonderful. Brecken even got to play in it with her daddy and thought it was great. We just spent this last week with my mom and dad. We had so much fun and stayed very busy. We went to the beach a couple of times, went to some parks, had the girls pictures taken, and of course we did a little shopping. My parents even watched the girls for a night so my honey and I could have a date night. That was a lot of fun...of course the main topic of the night was "the girls." Not too surprising...what means most to you just become part of who you are!!

John has had the last three weeks off because of some maintenance issues so we have had a lot of fun at the park and at the gym. He started back up flying on Monday and is doing his night flights this week. He really enjoyed having a little break, but was definately ready to get back to flying. I was about ready to break something just so he could fix it. That man NEEDS to work...what a great quality! He is still on schedule to get his pilot wings on December 4th, but will probably be done flying a month early. John and I will be taking a trip to Oklahoma for a couple days in November to buy a house...whoo hoo! Grandma Barbie and Aunt Julie are flying down to watch the girls...I am not sure who will have more fun?

I have so enjoyed spending lots of time with my hubby and of course seeing my parents was so great. The girls and I have been going to a lot of playdates and we are getting to know a lot of people around here, which is wonderful but stinks that we will have to leave them in three months. Since John is home most nights, I get to go to the gym and have some "me" time which is always refreshing. I have been doing a lot of spinning classes, which I love. I am trying new recipes and cooking a lot more which the whole family loves. Have not set the fire alarms off yet, so I would say it is very successful!

Miss Brecken is becoming quite the jabberbox and is beginning to say all kinds of words. She loves singing and her two favorite songs are "Three Little Monkeys" and "ABC's." She goes to "Jumpin Bunnies" every Friday and loves that of course. She can now swing on the parallel bars and jumps into the foam pit by herself. She is a great big sister and usually does her own thing, but if she sees Baylen on the ground then she is fair game...ha! She loves anything that is outside and that has plenty of room to run. We always joke and say that if the world was made out of sand and silk...Brecken would think it was perfect!

Baylen is growing like crazy. She is so strong and has been rolling over for about a month now. She can stand while hanging onto our fingers and absolutely loves her jumper. She just turned 4 months and is already in some 9 month clothes! She is such a happy baby and it is hard to find a time during the day where she is not smiling. Maybe if she is tired or has gas, but hey you wouldn't smile either! She loves watching Brecken. Her eyes are always glued on her and she gets distracted when she eats if she hears Brecken's voice. She has great coordination and loves to hold and play with toys, or hair, or necklances...whatever is within arms reach!

Well as you can see we are doing amazingly well and are counting each day as a gift here in Corpus. It won't be long til we are in OK. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the beautiful fall weather...hey if we can in this heat, you can too!!

...Worth a thousand words

Miss Baylen is sporting her sun hat at the beach. She loves to watch the water, people, and birds. Her head moves so fast we sometimes call her our little "bobble head."

Brecken and her first bikeride. She loved it!! Yes she even color coordinates with her helmet...why wouldn't she?

Baylens first dip in the Gulf. She enjoyed the water so much and it was crazy warm. She even dug up some little clams with her "rubber" toes.

Brecken loves to swing at the park with her daddy. Beautiful weather, beautiful water, beautiful city, beautiful people!

Baylen is quite the little toe grabber! What a healthy little girl she is...I think the tighter the clothes she wears the cuter she gets. Squeezed in these for the first and last time.

Breckens first trip to Chucky E. Cheese. She loved ski ball of course and found it rather easy. All you have to do is walk on up the ramp and roll the balls back down onto the ground :)

It is very rare that this little peach is not smiling...and why wouldn't she?

Just taking a little break from her "Jumpin Bunnies" class. She takes long naps on Fridays and I can see why.

Baylen loves to suck on anything she can get in her mouth. It is a rare occasion to see her without a bib. She is quite the water fountain.

Brecken got a new leotard and skirt for "Jumpin Bunnies." Here she is just showing us how good her balance it...10.0 Brecken!

Smile til' your face hurts...I DO!!!

Brecken has learned how to play the harmonica and decides to show off her talents. Hang on Baylen sis' is here!!

Brecken loves the park and in this video she found a little hiding place...a new discovery!

August Update

Summer Fun With The Wittrocks...

These two never cease to make me laugh...my face tends to hurt from smiling so much!

Sisters, sisters...

Brecken is Baylen's guardian angel...everytime Baylen cries Brecken rushes to her side to help...okay almost everytime!

Wow what a summer this has been! We have been so busy and have had so much fun together as a family. We are all healthy and have enjoyed the weather although it has been rather warm. We got a new pool for the backyard that we can all fit in comfortably. That has gotten a lot of use in the past few weeks! We are loving the summertime except for all the cockroaches that are hiding in our garage to escape from the heat...yuck!! We are so enjoying the family car and just hate it when we all have to go run errands together...ya right. I have never seen anybody run so fast to a car. No I don't mean Brecken or Baylen, I am talking about their daddy!!
Well speaking of John, he is one busy man. He is flying now everyday and loving it! He puts in about 10 hour days and then does a lot of studying on top of that at home. We sure miss him, but his give 100% of himself to his family at night until the girls are safe in bed...yes we are very blessed to have him as a husband and father. He always flies with a partner on this new aircraft and they have their first solo coming up soon. John says it takes a lot of studying and the flights are intense! He is still on track for a December 4th graduation.
I have been busy trying to keep up with my two little ones. They are so much fun and yes I sleep very, very well at night! I have just joined a new mom's group and we have been to a couple playdates. Brecken loves running around at them and Baylen loves to be held at them. I have enjoyed meeting other moms and getting out of the house. We are in the process of joining an athletic club down the street. It will be a great blessing that I will be able to work out everyday and drop the kids off at their on-site "kids club" for an hour.
Brecken has been doing amazing and is growing so much. She is talking so much now and even does the most adorable facial expressions as she talks. She said "marshmellow, madagascar, and ratatouille" last week. Okay so maybe not the whole word, but mommy understood her. She is also excited about joining the athletic club because she is going to join a group called "Jumping Bunnies." It is a gymnastic class for toddlers....it will be so great to see what she does. As all of you know she is quite the mover and shaker! She is so good with Baylen and definately gives her lots of hugs and kisses. She is learning to be "SOFT" and is a wonderful big sister!
Baylen is changing right before our very eyes. She is 2 and 1/2 months now and just learned to roll over...yes I did just say she rolled over. Watch out Brecken here comes your baby sister! She loves to jump in her jumper and loves to be held. She has started doing this is whine cry which clearly communicates "Pick me up!" At our last playdate I held her for an hour and a half while chasing Brecken around and Baylen just looked around and smiled the whole time. She is such a smiley baby and has started cooing and can be quite the jabberbox sometimes. She loves car rides and is a great night time sleeper. Mommy loves that!!!
So that is our news for this month...we have lots of pics and the cutest video of the two sisters together. I can't click my camera fast enough for all the funny things that go on in this house. What a blessed woman I am and I thank YHWH for the amazing family he has given me! Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the final days of summer!

Family Photos...Priceless

Brecken and her daddy...what a pair. They are two peas in a pod!

Baylen loves her bouncer and is quite the cat napper. With all this rolling around I think her bouncer days are numbered.

This is Brecken's new castle she got at a garage sale for $10...what a buy. We set it up in her room and she runs inside every time you say "FEE FI FO FUM."

This was Baylen's first time in the jumper. I think we were more amused then she was. She loves jumping however she isn't quite sure she likes being down at her daddy's level...see the ball over her head?!?

Brecken loves her little playhouse and always waits at the door for her daddy to run and get her some water...which of course she then throws on the ground. She has figured out that the games then starts over...how fun!

This was Baylen's first time at the park...she had so much fun and didn't even have to get out of her carseat!

Brecken's hair has just gotten long enough to put up in a ponytail...her daddy thinks it makes her look about 3 years older.

Baylen loves quiet time in her crib. Brecken is still trying to figure out why she would needs quiet time?

No we still haven't had any rain yet, so a garden hose and a pile of dirt is the next best thing.

Just another beautiful picture of our smiley girl...Baylen Grace!

Slam dunk...daddy is not the only one who loves Saturdays!

Baylen LOVES her baths and enjoy feeling clean...don't we all?

This is the response I got when asking Brecken if she likes her new pool?

Sisters...need I say more?

These are the moments when I wish I had a rewind button...thank YHWH for digital cameras!
